We saw some pretty flamingos...
My favorite...the elephants....
Then a big ol' grizzly bear, taking a nap....
Plus many more but I don't want you to fall asleep reading this blog. But it did also have a botanical garden attached which was pretty. Not all the flowers were blooming yet but of course my favorite flower, tulips, were opening...
I also tried my photography skills on my husband all day...now I just need photoshop on my computer!

Okay, enough with the Zoo. Cornell said he was fine if we didn't go back til we had kids. haha.
Things around the Thomas household are coming along. The living room and half bathroom are now painted. Cornell did both all by himself...I'm not much of a painter. He didn't know that when he married me. Poor guy.

After painting, Cornell FINALLY got to mount his prized wedding gift...the flat screen television. We had a hard time deciding what to do for the shelf below the tv, we got this shelf from IKEA but not sure if we will end up keeping it there.
So now we are working on the guest room because we have GUESTS COMING!!! YAY! We are so excited for my parents to come this weekend. I think Cornell is more excited than I am if that is possible! They are driving from Minnesota so please pray for their safe trip here. :)

And, Wa-LA....

So pretty!
Cornell and I went to church this morning and then headed to have a delicous breakfast at...um..IHOP. LOL...not your typical Easter meal, i know. I had searched for the perfect Easter brunch, but somehow all the resorts/restaurants thought that someone might actually pay $49.00 per person to eat there! We said a big no thanks and spent $25 at IHOP. Those pancakes are so dense huh Bry? :)
How about Noah's Easter basket from Grandpa and Grandma....
I didn't get emotional until I saw this picture of my mom and Noah, then the tears started coming...
Isn't it so precious?
